Dan Nowak’s Comments
Most of these came about because of bar bets and failed relationships. I try
to work with my sense of place, Toledo, as much as possible. I feel
there is a great sense of despair and failure where I live, but on some
level that can be found anywhere. In the same sense of this negativity there
is a positive energy that gives every place its own unique feel, and that is
what I hope to show through my work.
