“Cities for Hands” took four years to write. It was written out of order.
“Vernal Equinox and Autumnal Equinox” is based on a semiautobiographical true story.

“Coping” is entirely fiction.
“March 11, 2011” was inspired by a YouTube video. It is dedicated to the victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.
I write entirely on instinct. I write long-hand, often on the G train or Long Island Railroad. I have three alternating muses, and two are imaginary.
