Let the Sky
Chris Garson

A tough year so far

For all of us, I agree

With what everyone says.

But from another angle—

Some sort of inverse mirror—

You can see how things might

Have been different

Or at least

More organized,

Everything pointing

To just this moment,

Just this time—

In fact, your two arms

Which you push

Toward the ceiling fan

In the wreck of a possible moan.
