portion of the artwork for Barbara Tramonte's poetry

I Have
Barbara Tramonte

A sister above
One really above
A mother
Now gone and
Floating

I have
A husband
Disappeared
A son
A frog
Disappeared
A daughter

I have
The girl
Who cut school
And her arms and
The boy who suffered in
Silence.

I have
Just this Thursday
On a bed
After many

I have
A way to think about
The girl, the boy,
The disappearance of
The frog
The sister
The husband
The mother
The cuts
The arms and
The silence

Sometimes the way
Is filled
With a pain
That can only be thought of
As holy.
