I’m not a fast photojournalist kind of photographer—I need time to shoot a picture. Often I see something, a situation or a person, at a moment I didn’t plan to shoot a picture. I don’t like staged pictures. Light, composition, and a little luck are the factors that are important to me.

I believe it isn’t interesting to tell where a picture is taken. I like to leave that to the imagination of the person who looks at my pictures. To me, nothing is more beautiful than a barite print and I hope this paper will be available forever.
