William Walker’s Comments

I met Soapie in Portland, Oregon. I tried to tell this story for years, but I couldn’t figure it past the fact that I put myself into some terrible situations. There remains a trace of some attempt at Joseph Conrad in there if you’re looking.

I was playing around with Conrad in “Travel Advisory“ as well. There’s a bit of John Bunyan. And I was thinking about Elizabeth Smart and some experiences I’ve had with perverts.
